CREATE WEB PAGES WITH GOOGLE SITES In the following sessions we will start working in creating web pages. The easiest way to become familiar with them is to use the free tool that offers Google, Google Sites.
Google Sites is an online application that lets you create and edit your website easily and without any advanced computer knowledge or having to use any complicated web design program.
The only requirement is to have a Google account (gmail), free, which is what we have been using blogs.
We can define it as a mixture of blog and wiki, but combining the advantages of both and eliminating many of its drawbacks.
We gather in one place a wealth of information of various kinds, because you can add text, photos, video, documents, files of any type gadget. It integrates seamlessly with Google tools like Google Docs, calendar ... but I can insert any other service documents. We can attach any type of files to each page, we also have a special page type container files called
The structure will be much freer than a blog, and we can create the pages you want and link them to our needs. The edition will be similar to that of a blog, but follow a chronology, completely free. In addition, we will have a URL or accessible to whomever we want.
The information you enter on our site we can share with a small group, large or worldwide. Collaborative sites can be made between several people, working in teams. It can be puública (open to everyone) or private (only visible to whom we wish).
